In the largest SGS auction of Q3FY26, 13 states raised Rs 29,725 crore, 41.5% higher than initially indicated, reflecting renewed funding needs. Aditi Nayar, chief economist at ICRA, noted that SGS cut-offs have hardened despite a slight decline in tenor, with the 10-year G-Sec softening to 6.51%.
