Ahmedabad Airport to allow imports, exports of jewellery parcels through personal carriage

Ahmedabad Airport now facilitates the import and export of gems and jewellery parcels for personal carriage. This new provision extends to other major airports including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade, an arm of the commerce ministry, announced this development. This move simplifies international trade for individuals carrying precious items.
