Anoop Lokkur’s debut Kannada feature Don’t Tell Mother is set to have its World Premiere at the 30th Busan International Film Festival. Inspired by his childhood in 1990s Bangalore, the Indo-Australian drama tells a tender story of a young boy enduring corporal punishment at school and his family’s silent struggles in a patriarchal world.
