Apple’s new AI chief, Amar Subramanya, is a Google veteran

Subramanya was educated in India's tech hub Bengaluru, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering from Bangalore University. He then obtained a PhD in computer science from the University of Washington, specialising in machine learning, large-scale systems, and natural language processing.
