Archean Chemical Industries Limited's step-down subsidiary SiCSem Private Limited executed a Fiscal Support Agreement with the India Semiconductor Mission on May 11, 2026, under the Semicon India Programme. The FSA formalises the Government of India's CapEx support commitment for India's first approved SiC-based Compound Semiconductor Fab and ATMP facility at Info Valley, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The project envisages an investment of approximately Rs. 2,067 crore, with an annual capacity of ~60,000 SiC wafers and ~96 million SiC MOSFETs and diodes. This milestone follows ISM approval received by SiCSem on August 12, 2025, and subsequent inter-corporate funding extended for procurement of long-lead machinery.
