Army general takes over Guinea-Bissau after president's ouster in coup

Guinea-Bissau's military has appointed Major General Horta Inta-a as a 'transitional president' after ousting President Umaro Sissoco Embalo in a coup. He will head the so-called 'High Military Command for the Restoration of Order' with a stated one-year mandate.
