BCCI not recognised as a national sports body, says sports minister Mandaviya

Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya stated in the Lok Sabha that the BCCI is not a recognised National Sports Federation (NSF). This status is expected to change with the new National Sports Governance Act next year, which mandates NSFs to register for central government funding and accountability.
