Delhi court allows Engineer Rashid to attend Budget Session in custody

A Delhi court has granted custody parole to jailed MP Engineer Rashid. He will attend the upcoming Budget Session of Parliament. Rashid will be escorted by armed police personnel. This follows similar permissions for previous parliamentary sessions. He was arrested in 2019 in a terror-funding case. Rashid won the Baramulla seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
