Kurla, Mulund, and Deonar police have registered FIRs against 24 individuals in a widespread fake birth certificate scam. Accused allegedly submitted forged documents and manipulated records to correct names and parental details. Investigations revealed use of false Aadhaar cards, claims of home births, and unauthorized logins by former health officers.
