Former Sports Official Gou Zhongwen Faces Death Sentence for Corruption

Gou Zhongwen, ex-director of China's State General Administration of Sports, has been sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve for bribery and abuse of power. The sentence will be commuted to life in prison if no further crimes are committed during the reprieve period, according to CCTV.
