The acquisition aims to enhance HCL's Data AI division capabilities, particularly in embedded analytics and business intelligence. Jaspersoft's platform offers advanced reporting and visualization tools, catering to regulated industries. The deal, structured as an asset carve-out, is expected to close within six months, subject to regulatory approvals including CFIUS. Approximately 115 employees will transfer globally.
