Helicopter showers flowers on Darbar Sahib to mark Gurpurb

On the sacred occasion of Guru Ram Das’s Gurpurb, a helicopter showered rose petals over the parikrama of Harmandir Sahib, taking off from the sports ground of Guru Nanak Dev University here on Wednesday. The helicopter circled over the Golden Temple 13 times, spreading flowers in a gesture of reverence.
