The International Monetary Fund projects global economic growth to remain steady at 3.3% in 2026 and 3.2% in 2027, with the 2026 forecast revised upward by 20 basis points. India continues to demonstrate strong growth prospects with projections of 6.4% for FY27 and FY28, following an upward revision to 7.3% for FY26. Global inflation is expected to ease from 4.1% in 2025 to 3.8% in 2026, while US technology investment has surged to levels not seen since 2001, creating positive spillovers globally.
