Indian visa applications suspended indefinitely in Bangladesh's Chittagong

India has suspended visa operations at its application center in Chittagong, Bangladesh, following heightened tensions and attacks on its consulate. The move comes after the death of prominent youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi, who was a candidate in the upcoming general elections. Security has also been enhanced at other Indian facilities in Bangladesh.
