Indians continue to top foreign tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka in August

Sri Lanka's tourism sector continues its recovery, with August seeing 198,235 tourist arrivals, a 20.4% increase compared to the previous year. Indian tourists led the way with 46,473 visitors, followed by the UK and Germany. The island nation welcomed over 1.5 million tourists in the first eight months of the year, signaling a strong rebound towards pre-crisis levels.
