INSV Kaundinya to set off on voyage to Oman on December 29

Named after the legendary mariner Kaundinya, who is believed to have sailed from India to Southeast Asia in ancient times, INSV Kaundinya, the Indian Navy’s stitched sailing vessel embodies India's historic role as a maritime nation. The ship will begin its maiden voyage from Porbandar to Muscat.
