Labour Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje said the four new Labour Codes aim to strengthen social security for mine workers, including contract labour. Addressing DGMS’s 125th Foundation Day in Dhanbad, she stressed the use of modern technology, awareness drives, and coordinated Centre-State efforts to improve mine safety in line with PM Modi’s “First Safety” vision.
