Madras High Court Demands Accountability in Police Procedural Lapses

The Madras High Court has mandated the Director General of Police to initiate disciplinary action against five officers for failing to submit a closure report on a case. Justice P Velmurugan highlighted the oversight and directed the DGP to ensure such lapses do not recur, urging strict adherence to procedures.
