MP News: State Government Spends 25% Of Health Budget On Outsourced Services

Nearly 25% of Madhya Pradesh’s health budget is spent on outsourced services such as housekeeping, security, lab testing, CT scans and dialysis in government hospitals. Most staff under the National Health Mission are also on contract. The state has allocated Rs 23,533 crore for health in 2025–26, with a major share going to salaries and outsourced services.
