MP Trade Union Strike: Business Worth ₹10 Lakh Crore Affected

Around 30,000 employees from banks, insurance, BSNL, and other central sector units observed a strike in Madhya Pradesh, affecting business worth Rs 10 lakh crore. SBI kept 1,500 branches open. Unions demanded repeal of four labour codes, a national minimum wage of Rs 26,000, equal pay for contract workers, higher pensions, and relief on GST and petroleum duties, among other points.
