A video from Amritsar’s General Post Office went viral after a local man confronted an official for not knowing Punjabi. The argument began when the official asked for translation of an address written. The man argued that officials in Punjab should know Punjabi and noted the local language was missing from signage on the counters. The altercation was defused without escalation.
