Pant Nagar Police booked three people for allegedly cheating a Ghatkopar-based businessman of ₹1.82 crore by promising high returns from a fake iPhone buying-and-selling business. The accused claimed to run an iPhone dealership and executed notarised contracts to gain trust. Payments stopped in October 2023, prompting the victim to lodge a police complaint.
