Mumbai News: JJ Hospital Doctors To Go On Indefinite Hunger Strike From Monday Over Autonomy, Hostel Woes

Health services at Mumbai’s JJ Hospital may be affected as around 200 resident doctors plan an indefinite hunger strike from February 16. The protest is over alleged interference in student governance, proposed Gymkhana policy changes and poor hostel conditions. Doctors also cited safety concerns, inadequate facilities and delayed stipends, saying repeated representations received no resolution.
