Mumbai News: MMRDA Fires Top Consultants After Metro 4 Accident, Contractor Fined ₹5 Crore

Following a Metro 4 slab collapse in Mumbai that killed one and injured three, MMRDA terminated the general consultant consortium – Louis Berger, Hill International, and DB International. The agency launched inspections across all metro lines, fined the contractor Rs5 crore and GCs Rs1 crore, and pledged zero tolerance for safety lapses.
