No defence deal, India and Russia agree to boost manufacture of spare parts

India and Russia have agreed to work together under the Make-in-India program to manufacture spare parts and components for Russian arms and defence equipment. This will involve technology transfer and joint ventures to meet the needs of the Indian Armed Forces and enable exports.
