Nvidia is close to finalising a $30 billion investment into OpenAI, replacing the long-term $100 billion commitment agreed last year, the Financial Times reported, citing sources. The deal would form part of a new funding round and could be finalised as early as this weekend. OpenAI plans to reinvest much of the new capital into Nvidia hardware, while the earlier multi-year partnership will not proceed.
