Pakistani doctor left surgery midway in UK to have sex with nurse

A Pakistani anaesthetist, admitted to leaving a patient mid-surgery at Tameside General Hospital in the UK to engage in sexual activity with a nurse in a nearby theatre. The incident occurred in September 2023 and was taken to a medical tribunal in the UK this year. Dr Suhail Anjum cited marital strain and family stress as contributing factors. He expressed deep remorse and expressed his desire to resume his medical career in the UK.
