Pentagon deploys Anthropic's Mythos to patch cyber gaps while planning to ditch firm

The United States Department of Defense is rolling out Anthropic’s Mythos AI cybersecurity model to detect and fix software vulnerabilities across government systems, even as the Pentagon works to reduce its dependence on the company. A senior Defence Department technology official said the deployment remains critical to strengthening cybersecurity infrastructure.
