RAF: The New Vanguard in Disaster Management

The Rapid Action Force (RAF), the riot-control unit of the CRPF, will now engage in disaster relief and rescue operations. Following directives from the Union home ministry and NDMA, about 340 troops in 14 teams are prepared for disaster response, joining the efforts of the NDRF across the nation.
