Sebi has proposed consolidating overlapping trading rules for equity and commodity segments into a single framework, merging bulk/block deal disclosures at the PAN level, rationalising margin trading facility norms, liberalising client code modifications, and scrapping outdated provisions. The move aims to enhance ease of doing business, improve transparency, and reduce duplication.
