SHO suspended for ‘assaulting' doctor; health services hit in Karnal

All health services at government hospitals in the district came to a standstill on Thursday afternoon as doctors went on an indefinite strike after a doctor posted at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Gharaunda was allegedly assaulted on duty and whisked away by the police following a heated phone exchange with the Gharaunda SHO on Wednesday evening.
