Stanford philanthropist and former trustee Bradford M. Freeman, 64, has given $50 million to aid Stanford football, funding institutional NIL programs and five additional scholarships. The gift came amid significant shifts in college athletics, that includes Name, Image, and Likeness rules and transfer portal alterations. Stanford President Jonathan Levin, Athletics Chair John Donahoe, and GM Andrew Luck applauded Freemans generosity as revolutionary for recruiting and program sustenance.
