Flying Dutchwoman Marrit Steenbergen claimed victory in the 100m freestyle at the world championships, defeating star swimmer Mollie O'Callaghan. Olympic champion Kate Douglass set the second-fastest 200m breaststroke time ever. As O'Callaghan aimed for a fourth gold, she placed fourth in the final. China's Qin Haiyang and Britain's Duncan Scott also celebrated wins.
