Supreme Court grants temporary relief from disqualification to Manikrao Kokate

Kokate moved the Supreme Court challenging an order of the Bombay High Court suspending his sentence but refusing to stay conviction in the cheating case. He resigned as a minister for sports and youth affairs after he failed to get relief from the High Court.
