TDB kicks off RDI fund disbursal, backs startups across space, drones, biotech

The Technology Development Board (TDB) has begun disbursing the first tranche of the Rs 1 lakh crore Research and Development Initiative (RDI) fund, backing deeptech startups in space, drones, and biotech. The board expects to disburse Rs 500-600 crore this fiscal year, with initial investments ranging from Rs 3 crore to Rs 150 crore per project.
