Chinese automaker Geely has launched its new i-HEV Intelligent Hybrid system, claiming a Guinness World Record with fuel efficiency of just 2.22 litres per 100 km (around 45 km per litre). The AI-powered hybrid aims to challenge the long-standing dominance of Japanese brands like Toyota in the conventional hybrid segment.
