the vidarbha industries association (via) taxation & corporate law forum, jointly with vidarbha tax practitioners association (vtpa), recently organised a full-day seminar on ‘new income tax act, 2025” at via hall, udyog bhawan, civil lines, nagpur. on the occasion, chief guest dr sibichen k mathew, irs, director general of income tax at the national academy of direct taxes (nadt), nagpur, said that the income tax act, 2025 marks a historic shift toward a taxpayer-centric ecosystem.
