Ashleigh Gardner's magnificent century powered seven-time world champions Australia to an 89-run victory over trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in their ICC Women's World Cup opener. Setting a target of 326, Australia then dismissed the White Ferns for 237, despite Sophie Devine's valiant 111. Annabel Sutherland and Sophie Molineux claimed three wickets each.
